Merry Christmas, one and all!

Festive cheer, Yuletide joy, and let’s hope this isn’t the year when dread Nyarlathotep returns from the illimitable vasty dark wherein he dwelleth and devours all our tasty souls.

Santa’s update is scanty this year. Suffice to say that the latter half of 2013 has demonstrated just how slowly things move in the screen world. But with two big projects on the go and several others in the pipe, I’ve been busy at least! As ever, I’ll tell you more when I’m actually sure they’re getting done; in the meantime I shall labour in secret.

Gotta go play in the wrapping paper now. Have a good one!

Santas update? I thought Frey shot him or something? Anyways merry Christmas. And if you are doing a screenplay on a book I recommend you don’t tell us that until it’s 100% certain it’s happening. For our sanities sake.

Hi Chris, I am an aspriring/rookie film writer and I would like to work on Kerosene as a screenplay and possible indie film

Oh, my dear Chris, I NEED to ask you something.
Will you be making a second book to Pandemonium? I got the book at the book fair after seeing it in a graphic novel magazine. I recognized it right away and I’m glad I did.
If I remember correctly, one of the characters said,
“Sometimes I think it would be easier to tell him who he really is.”
Ever since I finished it I’ve been speculating as to what might happen. Is Seifer some kind of magic clone created by his dad? I was bored so I thought of tons of stuff.

Please tell me if you are! It left me hanging!
Love your work by the way!

  4. @ Brooklyn – That’s the idea. For my sanity’s sake as well.

@ Eli – You’ll need to contact my film agent Josh Varney at 42 Management.

@ Mary – Sadly Scholastic don’t seem to want to do another Pandemonium book. I’d love to do one but it’s out of my hands :(

That sucks about Pandemonium, but on the lighter side you have a Facebook fan page (no I didn’t set it up) You should check it out

just finished reading Ace of Skulls. oh boy, what a ride! I read all the of the Ketty Jay tales and in the Ace of Skulls and I was really afraid for the fate of the characters (this is after all the last book in the series). at the end I was surprised, thrilled and out breath when I finished the book.
    brilliant job!
best of luck with your upcoming projects.

  7. Eli says:

Chris how would i do that?

  8. Brooklyn says:

We need an update please Chris! Most of us think you’re dead!

  9. Kath says:

YO! Happy birthday, you! *throws a cake* :D

  10. Aw, thanks Kath! *receives cake in face* Hey, I was in your country while it happened, lurking in a bierkeller in Munich! :P

  11. Kath says:

    Dude! How cool! :D
Munich is such a fine city and you even had very nice weather to boot! What Bierkeller did you go to? :)

(I was at the Munich Zoo that day and drew sketches of flamingos because why not. They had very fancy animals but somehow the geese and chickens there held my interest the longest…)
